Amarisen Systems

Our operating standard

Halal-aligned work, explained plainly

Amarisen Systems works exclusively with Halal-aligned businesses and permissible projects. This is not decorative branding — it is an operating policy that shapes which projects we accept, how we build them, and how we treat the people we work with. This page explains what that means in practice.

What we mean

A working standard, not a marketing label

Halal-aligned work, for us, has two dimensions. The first is what we build for: we do not build systems that directly facilitate clearly impermissible activities — including projects whose core purpose involves gambling or betting, alcohol sales, adult sexual services, or prohibited products. Financial projects receive careful examination where they may directly facilitate interest-based transactions or other activities inconsistent with our standard.

The second dimension is how we work: honesty in claims, fairness in agreements, care in delivery and respect for the people affected by the systems we build — including the customers of our clients. A permissible business deserves a permissible process, not deceptive interfaces or manipulative patterns that erode trust in everyone.

Important clarifications

This page describes Amarisen's own operating policy. It is not a universal religious ruling about every type of business, and we do not present ourselves as a certification body — Amarisen Systems holds no formal Halal certification, and we do not claim one. We also do not sit in judgement of people; the policy governs our own choices about the work we accept.

The values behind the standard

Five commitments that shape actual delivery

Amanah — Trust & responsibility

Your business, your customers' data and your project are trusts placed in our hands. We communicate honestly about what a system does and does not do, what we can and cannot deliver, and where the limits of our competence lie.

Adl — Fairness

Fair agreements, fair pricing, fair treatment. Terms are stated before money moves; late changes go through a transparent change process; we do not exploit information asymmetry against clients who are not technical.

Maslahah — Genuine benefit

We build what genuinely serves the business — not unnecessary complexity that looks impressive on a proposal. Where a simpler process works better, we recommend it even when it earns us less.

Ihsan — Excellence in work

Careful, well-tested, well-documented work, and continuous improvement. Ihsan means doing the job properly even in the parts nobody inspects: error handling, accessibility, security defaults.

Transparency

Clear scope, honest limitations, understandable terms. No fabricated testimonials, no invented statistics, no hidden ownership claims — this website follows the same rule we ask of our own work.

How you can verify these commitments

  • Transparent project scope in every proposal
  • Honest statements about what a system does — including its limits
  • Clear pricing and payment expectations before work begins
  • Appropriate customer-data handling with minimisation and access control
  • No fabricated testimonials, fake urgency or dark patterns — anywhere
  • Clear ownership and documented handover
  • A genuine fit process that includes saying no

Project assessment

How we decide whether a project is suitable

We do not assume an industry is automatically permissible or automatically impermissible. For every project we examine:

  1. 1The business's main activity — what it actually sells or provides
  2. 2What the requested system will do — its purpose and functionality
  3. 3Whether the system directly facilitates an impermissible activity
  4. 4Who is affected — users, customers and the wider public

For borderline or uncertain cases, we:

  • Document the uncertainty honestly rather than deciding by convenience
  • Seek suitable knowledgeable guidance where needed
  • Consider whether a narrower scope resolves the concern
  • Decline or defer the project if the issue cannot be resolved responsibly
  • Communicate the decision professionally — difficult decisions are documented with respect, never with judgement of the person asking

Boundaries

What we decline

By standard

  • · Systems whose core purpose facilitates gambling or betting
  • · Alcohol sales platforms and similar prohibited-product commerce
  • · Adult sexual services and related marketplaces
  • · Financial systems that directly facilitate interest-based transactions, pending careful examination
  • · Anything else that, on examination, we cannot responsibly build

By capability & fit

  • · Projects requiring security, regulatory or enterprise capabilities beyond our competence
  • · Engagements that demand guaranteed revenue, rankings or business outcomes
  • · Work for clients unwilling to define scope, give feedback or agree reasonable terms
  • · Projects whose requirements exceed our available capacity to deliver safely

Declining work is part of the standard, not a failure of it. Prospects whose projects we cannot take are treated professionally; we do not shame, insult or expose anyone for asking.

In practice

Fairness, data and honest customer experiences

Fair agreements

Scope, price, ownership and terms are stated in writing before work begins. We do not use complexity to trap clients into dependence — handover and documentation are standard, not hostage situations.

Customer data

The data of our clients' customers is a trust. Systems are designed to collect only what the workflow needs, restrict access to those who need it, and hand ownership fully to the business.

No deceptive patterns

We do not build fake countdowns, fake scarcity, hidden charges, forced continuity or manipulative flows — for our own website or for clients'. If a client requests dark patterns, that request itself is a fit problem.

Have a question?

Ask whether your project is suitable

If you are unsure whether your business or project falls within our standard, simply ask. The fit assessment includes this conversation, and an honest early answer saves everyone time. We would rather decline respectfully at the start than compromise later.

Do you work with non-Muslim-owned businesses?
Yes. The standard governs what we build and how we work — not the faith of the client. Any business whose activities are permissible and whose needs we can responsibly serve is welcome, and every prospect is treated with respect regardless of the outcome.
Is Amarisen certified by any religious authority?
No, and we do not imply otherwise. This is our own operating policy, applied consistently and transparently. Where a project requires religious guidance beyond our competence, we seek suitable knowledgeable guidance before deciding.
What about conventional banking or fintech clients?
Financial projects require careful examination of what the system directly facilitates. Some financial-adjacent work may be permissible; systems that directly facilitate interest-based lending are not something we build. Each case is examined on its actual functionality, not its industry label.

A standard you can hold us to
